A few simple steps to getting you're Blackberry unlocked

  • Please make sure your phone is fully operational, ie:  screen, keyboard, trackball, trackpad.    This is very important since there are no refunds on this service if you're hardware is defective.   So please check everything before ordering

  • Turnaround time:   If you're order is received during normal business hours and I am in the office. I can normally turnaround you're unlock code within a few minutes.  Please don't order unless you are able to wait for your order to be processed.   Codes are emailed daily from 10am PST - 10pm PST

  • The IMEI and Vendor ID for each Blackberry you are paying to get unlocked are needed to process your order.  Please read below on how to find that information on your Blackberry, once you find it please email it to me along with your 5 digit GSM Phone Source order number or your Google checkout order number.   Please put your order number as the subject.    If you do not email me with this information, once your order is received I will send an email requesting it.   All unlock codes are emailed

How to locate the IMEI & Vendor ID


For Blackberry's with a full QWERTY Keyboard such as 9700, 9900:

From the main screen ,  Press alt caps h  at the same time.  You will see the Vendor ID & IMEI here

For Blackberry's with a SureType keyboard such as a Pearl

From the main screen, hold down the alt key while typing: race
 
It will get you into the help me menu, you will see the Vendor ID & IMEI here

For Blackberry 9850 / 9860

Hold the Blackberry key ( to the left of the track pad ) with one finger

With another finger do this:

Tap upper left hand corner of screen

Tap upper right hand corner of screen

Tap upper left hand corner of screen

Tap upper right hand corner of screen

When you are done with that, you will see a list of all the running apps,  simply hit the back key ( to the right of the track pad )

Now you will be in the Help Me! menu 

You will see the Vendor ID & IMEI here

For Storm / Storm2:

Hold back key ( next to Blackberry button ), tap ( don't click ) upper left corner, upper right, upper left, upper right and release the back key.

You will see the Vendor ID & IMEI here


Payment information:

You can use your major debit or credit card to make a payment using PayPal or Google checkout.    If you wish to use PayPal and do not currently have a PayPal account you can use your credit or debit card to make a payment without becoming a PayPal member.    

You may also choose to use Google checkout

On the "Your cart" page at the bottom you will see  Clicking this will allow you to make a payment with Google checkout.

  • Once payment is made you should take note of your 5 digit order number or Google Checkout order number.   You will need to reference this order number if you have any questions or issues regarding your order.  

 

Information about unlocking in general
  • If you are ordering several unlock codes, even for different services.  Please just place one order, not multiple orders.  Just modify the quantity during checkout.   You must still pay for each code that you want generated.
  • To unlock any Blackberry 87xx ,  95xx , 9630 you must have a SIM inserted, For all other Blackberry models you can perform the steps without a SIM inserted
  • This service will NOT remove any power on user codes or IT policy ( Ask me how if you need help with this )
  • Please read any supplied directions carefully before attempting to unlock your phone.   If you accidentally hardlock your phone by using an unlock code too many times, you will not be refunded
  • Once the unlock code is entered your phone will never re-lock even if you upgrade the software or hard reset your phone.
  • When you purchase an unlock code, it is a one shot deal that works for the IMEI we process. If you need a replacement phone unlocked later you will need to purchase the service again.
